    Proposal summary:

    The goal of this project is to increase the production of queens in Illinois adapted to northern conditions that also possess resistance to diseases and destructive mites. The project will train 50-60 beekeepers in queen rearing and provide ongoing support and additional learning opportunities in order to increase their chances of success.
