Revise/reprint “Biological Control of Insects and Mites”

Revise/reprint “Biological Control of Insects and Mites”

Summary

A slow start

The last half of 2005 was a time of pulling the project team together. All reviewers, workshop coordinators and the core team received a copy of the project timeline, the original publication and a contact list of the 32 people involved in the project, detailing their roles. Writer Paul Whitaker wrote to the reviewers asking for advance comments on the original publication. Principal Investigator Dan Mahr hired a student to work on amassing the necessary photos for the publication.

Revising the book is set to start in earnest the summer of 2006, when Whitaker will have a window of time to commit to the project. Farmer-editor Nino Ridgway will then edit his work during her "off" season after harvest 2006 and before planting 2007.
