A three-acre urban market garden will team up with an existing network of farms outside the city. By coordinating planting schedules, the farmers will work to increase the amount of organic produce available on a share basis to a low-income neighborhood, while at the same time ensuring neighborhood access to a wide range of products. Secondary benefits will be increased market visibility and improved cooperation among producers.
