    Proposal summary:

Livestock greenhouses have become increasingly popular with dairy farmers, but the potential for integrated, diversified farm production has been overlooked. This project will investigate the feasibility of growing mixed greens in suspended beds above the livestock and using manure slurry from the dairy farm to produce the soil used in the greens production. Outreach will be through farm tours, posters, and publications.
